Dr. Eberhardt and his wife grew up in the Midwest where their 4 children and 13 grandchildren still live. Pictures of his children and grandchildren fill his clinic walls. The spiritual grounding for his life as well as the ethics of his practice are provided by Saddleback Church.
After getting his veterinary degree at Michigan State University, Dr. Eberhardt served in the U.S. Army, Yokohama, Japan, where he cared for Sentry and Scout Dogs protecting our military bases and troops in Viet Nam.
The working Sentry dog temperament is a far cry from the warm, fuzzy, “Pet Kids” he see’s in his practice today. Whatever the temperament, his concern for the health of pets in his care, along with those who love them, has always been his highest priority.
